I'm pleased to announce Argentine Tango Workshops in Boston with master
teachers BROOKE BURDETT and JAVIER ROCHWARGER from Buenos Aires, June
28-30, 2003. A detailed schedule follows below. I hope you can join us for
these special classes with two wonderful teachers!

About Brooke and Javier
Beautiful and generous teachers and dancers from Buenos Aires, Brooke
Burdett and Javier Rochwarger teach with clarity and a combined
Argentine/North American perspective that is entertaining, insightful, and
accessible. Brooke (originally from the US and living in Argentina since
1997) and Javier (of Argentina) teach and dance in Buenos Aires. Their
workshops are popular in tango communities throughout the United States,
where their well-received teaching is in high demand.

With a knowledge that bridges the older and newer generations of tango
dancers, Brooke and Javier combine the intimacy of direct close embrace
contact with newer tango movement that is sweeping and dynamic. Some of
their most influential teachers include Pedro "Tete" Rusconi, Mingo &
Esther Pugliese, Juan Bruno, Mariano "Chicho" Frumboli, and Fabian Salas.

In their desire to explore and improvise, Brooke and Javier are constantly
looking to create new movement for the social dance floor and to transmit
to their students useful and fun methods of improvisation and "play,"
encouraging examination of the limitless possibilities of the dance. Their
classes emphasize proper technique, relaxed attentiveness, and musicality,
and are an experience not to be missed!
