A few months ago in Ann Arbor, Tete was good enough to give a charla on tango. He mentioned learning with friends and how he would get hit on the head by the older kids if he wasn't doing it right. So, he didn't learn by "just dancing". That's the same with all of the older gentlemen with whom I found dancing pleasurable.
