dari beda segment pak saya tes dari 20.21.21.4 coba cari share di
20.20.20.1 ( PDC servernya ) dan dia bisa locate.
kalo saya tes sesama segment dia sudah ok. masalah nya skrg yg ke cabang.
untuk firewall sama selinux semua sudah di disable semua pak.

semua port sudah di allow pak, sebagai contoh saya remote dari client ke
server PDC nya via SSH dia mau dan juga saya buka samba Swat yg port 901
dari computer client dia mau pak

Sudah pak...saya sudah buat wins support = yes di samba conf nya. dan di
user XP nya susah saya setting menggunakan wins ( di tcp/ip properties )
yaitu dengan mengarahkan ke sambar server tsb.
sedangkan untuk DNS setau saya samba 3 hanya mengenali WINS dan Netbios
lain hal samba 4
sebagai catatan saya juga sudah konfigure dns server di Samba tsb dan
hasilnya error spt ini

dan sudah kami routing dengan router dan bisa di ping akan tetapi pada

user join domain dia keluar error
" No DNS Server configure for local system". padahal kalo user join
domain
di pusat ( 20.20.20.0/24 ) dia mau join domain
walaupun tidak ada DNS server yg di isikan pada TCP/IP properties.
kira-kira ada teman-teman yg pernah mengalami kendala seperti ini dan
kira2
apa solusinya.

Salah satunya adalah dengan mengaktifkan WINS di PDC Anda. Dan arahkan
semua client yang di network terpisah itu agar konfigurasi WINS server
nya diarahkan ke IP PDC Anda tadi.

Tul. Aktikan WINS di PDC dan konfigure semua client pake WINS. Kalo
manual IP, setting WINS ada tuh hrs di isi. Kalo dari dhcp, dhcp
servernya harus menyertakan WINS server.
Sayangnya: WINS itu teknologi basi. Jadi DNS lebih disarankan. Juga
dengan Autoupdate DNS via DHCP.
