[Tapestry-developer] contributing components?

We have a component that generates a "popout-link"-- a hyperlink that when clicked opens a new window. It uses javascript to pop out the window and the component interface looks like this:

<parameter name="windowName" java-type="String" direction="custom" required="no"/>
<parameter name="windowHeight" java-type="Integer" direction="custom" required="no"/>
<parameter name="windowWidth" java-type="Integer" direction="custom" required="no"/>


Is this a good candidate for contributing to Tapestry? If so, how do I go about it? I read the contributors guide but I'm still unclear on the procedure for contributing.
