Hi,
Thanks folks for these suggestions!
The chairs agree that it makes sense to discuss the open issues, and
we'll allocate time at the beginning of next week's agenda.
We'll also talk about next steps, including the possibility of having a
formal TAPS WG meeting at IETF 117.
Here's the updated agenda:
- Issues for draft-ietf-taps-arch, -interface, -impl
- Implementation update
- What can we do now to foster deployment of TAPS?
- Discoverability/configuration
- Mappings: QUIC, HTTP, any others?
- Next steps
Looking forward to seeing you on Monday May 15, 15:00 UTC!

Hi,
I second this plan.
We should also talk briefly whether we want to have a WG meeting at
IETF117 to carry status and beginning chartering discussion into a
broader audience.

I support using at least part of the time to triage and discuss the
open issues (thanks to Michael for filing all of those!!).
I’m happy to make some slides about implementation/deployment
thoughts, but would welcome others who do implementations to also
provide input.
Best,
Tommy

Hi,
Not related to presentations, BUT: we also have some work to do:

and:
https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/msg/last-call/bpBk8QxZMLksr3ZuROtf2_BXYdI/
(any others that require work? Have I missed anything?)
What do you think, should we also do our usual thing and use some
interim time to discuss issues and PRs where we address these
reviews? This of course would need people to get active before
that… me, I’ll try to get started! I wanted to start filing issues
to begin addressing the latter review at least a week ago, but I’m
lagging behind.
Cheers,
Michael

Dear TAPS,
This is a quick and friendly reminder that our interim meeting is
coming up in a week.
So far, we have not received any indication of interest to present.
Please let the chairs know if you do want to present anything
related to the agenda items below.
Looking forward to seeing you next week!

Reese

The Transport Services (taps) WG will hold a virtual interim
meeting on
2023-05-15 from 08:00 to 10:00 America/Los_Angeles (15:00 to 17:00
UTC).
Agenda:
Preliminary agenda:
- Implementation update
- What can we do now to foster deployment of TAPS?
- Discoverability/configuration
- Mappings: QUIC, HTTP, any others?
Please let the chairs know if you'd like to present on any of
these. If nobody presents, we'll have a free-form discussion.
As mentioned in the original thread, the chairs are wondering if
it'll be time to conclude TAPS once the core documents have made
their way to the RFC editor, unless we see evidence of substantial
interest and activity regarding further milestones. This includes
editorial activity.
