A few points...
Tater I love your take on most things... genuine feelings with out
fluff to the point.

Skaggs:
I have a couple friends who have played a festival or two where
he was in attendence. He was pompous, arrigant and down talking to
all. They avoid all festivals/shows containing the man.
His Style? I am not a fan. He has that machine gun speed of
notes flyin everywhere but with out a lot of depth of accent. No
season in the soup in my language!
Preaching.... everyone knows he preaches, right. He came to a
church here in Pearland, Texas a couple years ago. Charged his big
rate. Preached for 45 min and played 3 songs to a congregation plus
payin 30 bucks a head. Ten dollars a song... iTunes wishes and I'm
sure other artist wish they could charge that!

My mentor has issue with the man but won't keep trashing him he always
comes back with a compliment like skaggs has a tear in his eyes from
my friends words. He claims theft of ideas 30 years ago and I tell
him to shut up that's what Monroe did a bunch I'm sure, it happens
alot i'd venture to guess.

your fellow tater patcher, peeking out of the ground,

Chef
