> No, the little workflow diagram is not enough, though it does help and I > wouldn't get rid of it. It's quite easy to imagine having two workflows > open/running that have the same overall appearance but different function. > Having the workflow filename as a title on the dialog box might help, but > that's all I've been able to think up. So once we allow more than one run dialogue, this is even more important. So they should show the filename/workflow name like in the 'Workflows' menu? Tracked as http://www.mygrid.org.uk/dev/issues/browse/T2-1284 linked to T2-1221 (non-modality) > Yep, I do this a lot, no matter how logical it may seem that the workflow > open in the design view is the one that will run. Sometimes as I look > through results, I forget which workflow was "on top" in the design view. > The problem here is that I usually have multiple workflows open at a time, > and I cannot remember which one would be the "active" design view to trigger > with a Run button. Therefore I almost always use the dialogs or the File > menu once I have made a first workflow run. OK, but this opens a new can of worms, unfortunately.. what about the File menu while in the Runs perspective? Edit/undo, Insert, View, none of these make much sense while looking at a current run, together with all tool bar buttons except possibly New and Open. Perhaps we could just grey them out when there is not a 'workflow' view on screen?
