Just now checked. Counted off 13 seconds! Got a little Alert box: "No
updates available."

So, confirmed to the second, Bill.

@Hendrik: Perhaps the developers have fixed it.

The bug was certainly there before, confirmed by a dozen or more TB!
users.

@Henk: Thanks for your second testing and report.

@Bill: I'm going to reactivate my setting to check, with notification
only, when The Bat! is started. Most probably that will have been
fixed, also.
