It is a similar solution, however, limited to compared to the TB! one:
select  the  Archive  account, Account, Delete, Leave account files on
disk. Of course, you cannot copy/move onto this account when it is not
"attached". Whenever you need it: Account, New... name: Archive. Next,
Next,  Next...  Voila. This is how I use my archive mails if needed on
Voyager.
