That's strange.

Again, strange. What options do you have ticked for the SSCE engine?

Why did you do that? Did you somehow 'disabled' SCCE first? Otherwise, 
you are just adding more variables to your 'problematic environment.

What 'other files' you added?. Just the  dictionaries for BR?

No, the fact that CSAPI is not available should be no problem for SSCE 
to work as it should.

I have copy&pasted your four lines above in my editor window and all 
misspelled words are flagged correctly. And I have tested, ONE AT A 
TIME, with the three engines.

Not at the moment. I would anyway suggest trying an engine at a time. 
And I would try to get the SCCE one to work first. Hunspell seems to 
work fine too, it is the dictionaries that may make a difference. In my 
case, I tested the Spanish one and it is quite poor.
