Hello Thomas Fernandez,
On Friday, October 01, 1999, 12:15:42 PM you told us:
TF>>> I reply to messages by time zone; Japan/Australia first, and then
TF>>> I move my way West bound through Asia, Europe, and finally the
TF>>> Americas. So any message from Brazil I receive in the morning
TF>>> doesn't need attention until afternoon, whereas I have to reply to
TF>>> Australia or NZ right away, as they are two/three hours ahead of
TF>>> me (I'm in Taiwan). Therefore, some kind of mark for later reply
TF>>> would come in handy, even if manual.
SH>> Hai, this is nice idea. How did you filtering by timezone ?
TF> I actually sort by country and do this on the sender's domain:
TF> If "Sender" contains ".com.au" goto Australia
TF> If "Sender" contains ".de" goto Germany
TF> If "Sender" contains ".cz" goto Czech Repulic
TF> If "Sender" contains ".com.ar" goto Argentina
TF> for example.
Thanks, never though before.
As far as I can remember, there is RFC number for country code.
TF> I figure, if you receive messages regularly enough from someone
TF> and you want to make a filter, you will have a seperate filter
TF> anyway.
Yes, Shift-Ctrl-F help me a much.
