Pegasus vs. The Bat!

I'm a new The Bat user, and considering registration...this may be a
duplicate message                                                    
(using web based mail at the moment) because I'm not sure if the
other one got sent.                                                  
   
So I'll keep this short.                                             
                                                                    
                                                                     
                                                                    
I am a 5 year user of Pmail, and love that program alot as(aside from
being free :)                                                       
it has a lot of the features I really like (besides being free :). 
However,                                                              
I'm looking for a program with a more modern interface...and pegasus
mail seems                                                           
to really be dragging it's heals on the development of one.          
                                                                    
                                                                     
                                                                    
I'd really like to hear any general comments people have who have
used Pegasus                                                         
  
quite a bit, for a head to head comparison.  But also, I have some
questions                                                            
 
on how to do some pegasus type things (or other program things) in
The Bat!                                                             
 
Here is a short list:                                                
                                                                    
                                                                     
                                                                    
1. Enclosures vs. Attachments. Pmail has an option to send enclosures
vs. attachments.                                                    
Among other things, this allows for inline image viewing. Now, I know
I can                                                               
read images inline with "The Bat!" But I haven't figured out how to
insert                                                                
inline images. Any tips?                                             
                                                                    
                                                                     
                                                                    
2. Mime Digest Reading. Pegasus mail treats a digest much like a
folder...                                                            
   
you can see From, Subject, Date, Size, etc" on each message in the
digest.                                                              
 
In TB, it seems that all I get is a bunch of attachments called:
1.msg, 2.msg, 3.msg                                                  
   
do I have some kind of setting wrong?  Or is this just the way it
works?  I especially                                                 
  
like to pay attention to certain individuals in a digest, which means
that having                                                         
the Sender as well as subject is important (date and size are just
extras)                                                              
 
                                                                     
                                                                    
3. Changing "Send from account..." Is there a more visible way to do
this?                                                                
One drawback to pegasus is that the Sending account is hidden, having
to switch to a                                                      
tab to update that information. The Bat also is a bit hidden, tucked
in a pull down menu,                                                 
is there a way to have it show as a direct pull down menu (like your
"To" is a pull down)                                                 
so that it's easier to switch on the fly?  (I realize that signatures
can help                                                            
you to recognize what accoutn you are sending from, but what If I
don't want a signature? :)
