I'm a little confused. You say "yes" here, but according to your
description below it seems to me what you want is a shortcut key to
got to the next message in thread, *regardless whether it's read or
not*! Agent's "T" key would take you to the next *unread* message in
thread. IOW, it would skip read messages. Which way do you want?

See?

If you do mean the "next message in thread" (regardless read or
unread), then there're a couple of not so elegant workaround:

1. Use Ctrl-Shift-U to mark the whole message as unread before
double-clicking the message (to open the message window).

2. Enable the message list pane in the message window. You may
adjust the pane size to only one (message list) item high, so it
won't take too much screen estate. TB would remember this setting.
The next time you open the message window, the cursor would stay at
the message list pane, with the current message highlighted, so you
may either use Ctrl-plus (the plus sign on the Num-keypad) to expand
the thread, then use the arrow button on the tool bar to navigate.
Or if you are a keyboard person, you may just use the arrow keys to
navigate without expanding it first. (Hint: using the right arrow
key to go down one level.)

I know, I wish TB is as easy to navigate as in Agent, too.
