You're right, there are lots of such shortcuts here. The trouble is
the following: with Outlook Express I had grown used to the idea that
it was shitty software and that it was hopeless expecting it to
improve in future.

(Indeed, I'm hearing that in version 5.5, Outlook Express now boasts
an extra advertisment window at the bottom of the main screen view!
Good luck, Microsoft.)

By contrast, The Bat! is such magnificent software that some of the
silly shortcomings that The Bat! has enrage you far more than anything
that Outlook might lack or fail to accomplish. Especially when many of
The Bat!'s basic shortcomings are unknown to Outlook Express users.
