Isn't it the purpose of a newsletter to provide the most relevant
information right there in the body of the newsletter itself?

The information about The Bat! was stuff and nonsense. The point is
that after reading it, no one will even feel the *need* to click on
that link and learn more. I know I wouldn't. For emailoholics this may
be different, but a regular email user won't even notice.

As I said, I had voted and even written detailed comments. CNET put
them in the trash. What's the use?
