To test TB! and learn how it does things, I send a lot of test messages
to myself. I setup a filter to delete these outgoing messages.
I have a couple close friends that I tend to like having my replies
sorted with their own messages so that I can reread my replies as well
as their messages in a threaded fashion. Again outgoing filters allow me
to do this.
I tend to post a lot of messages to TBUDL/TBBETA as you may notice. <g>
I place those sent messages in their own folder for easy back reference.
I know that they're mirrored back to me from the list so it's redundant
so I automatically purge this folder of sent TBUDL/TBBETA discussion
list messages regularly. You may even choose to delete them using the
same filter.
I use outgoing filters to colour code and sort replies to particular
recipients.
