Some prefer created time, some prefer received time, and some others
use both. I usually display only the received time, but from time to
time I do need to see the created time.

well, they're both useful information IMO, and not just when

Some email programs simply take the time your mail server got the
message as the received time. TB use the time it actually collects
the message. I admit I felt this approach a little odd when I
switched to TB. Now I'm used to it, and think there's nothing wrong
with either approaches. With TB, you get all the information (the
time your server got the mail is still in the header). Whether you
need it or not is another matter. What means nothing to you might be
important to others.
