A little patronising there Olivier... and not much appreciated. The "if
all else fails" suggestion to run Scandisk/Defrag was not meant as humour,
as those Applications do remedy cross linked files, etc., and was given in
earnest. I've remedied many strange happenings on my Computer by running
those two Applications.

Nevertheless, I see you now have a resolve to your problem, and that is
good.
