It still can be malformed. The point is that sometimes programmes (OE)
seem to send HTML messages without a plain text part. These would be
perfectly readable with a HTML renderer (i.e. IE) but not as PT in
TB!.

These are the messages where you can't delete the HTML "attachment"
because the whole message would be gone.
