-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Ochrid,
@22-Aug-2002, 14:05 +0200 (13:05 UK time) Ochrid [O] in [EMAIL PROTECTED]">mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] said to Marck: O> I *think* I did what you said: the filter for the messages I want O> to shut up is now at the top of the sorting office ( this filter O> also forwards mail with the word 'digest' in the header to O> another account.) That sounds about right .. except the "also" bit makes me frown. That sounds like it should be two separate filters. O> The other filters just move incoming mail into a particular box. O> The 'intermediate' filter is set up as you suggested (I think). Good. Remember that filters run top down, first come, first served. If a message is process by a filter, earlier filters will have operated but later filters will not. O> Effect: when I now send a test mail to the main account, it gets O> forwarded as if it had *digest* in the header. O> Where did I go wrong? Making a single filter to do two jobs sounds dodgy to me. Without more explicit information it's a hard one to call on. Why not copy/paste the filter in here and we can tell you what's wrong with it. - -- Cheers -- .\\arck D Pearlstone -- List moderator TB! v1.61 on Windows 2000 5.0.2195 Service Pack 2 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 6.5.8ckt build 09 beta 3 iQA/AwUBPWTU2TnkJKuSnc2gEQLqHQCgvMw6kmRXrb5vM/3dvzByoNomPdYAn23P 8GjQcinCAADt7M3McG5u/cW9 =rsFe -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________________ Current version is 1.61 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
