Hello TBUDL, I've upgraded the old PC to a new 2.4 Ghz PC with WinXP Pro. I am experiencing problems with download of messages. It typically get through the first few messages and then the download hangs.
For firewall, AV, & AT I do have ZAP, NAV 2002, & BOClean installed, respectively. The slow downloading problem is also applicable to web pages and downloading of newsgroup headers. I use Agent 1.92 as my news group reader. Given the fact it is across the board (i.e. email, newsgroup headers, & web pages) I don't believe the problem is with ZAP. I will probably try another firewall to eliminate this possibility. Any ideals? I am using my old PC for connection purposes.
