I then truned back on auto-protect. I have been using The Bat! now for several months, and I wouldn't want to use anything else at this point. I have used both Trend Micro PC-cillin and Norton Anti-Virus 2003 with it, but several weeks ago I purchased Kaspersky AntiVirus Pro and set up The Bat! to use it instead. Since it is a Russian product, it is not well known in the U.S. During the weeks I have been using it, Kaspersky has flagged a number of e-mail propagated viruses. It has worked VERY well and operates very smoothly. Although the Pro version is $99 U.S., there is a regular version availble for about half that price. For anyone who is committed to using The Bat!
