Thomas- I went from version 1.53 to 1.62 and had to move the folders myself. I remember an earlier upgrade where the files were modified automatically as part of the process, but I misremember the versions.
You may well be right about some intermediate version taking care of moving the files - I usually hold off upgrading until there's some compelling reason to do so, so I haven't paid much attention to minor (and some major) versions. The only reason I'm using beta4 now is so I can do some development work on antispam filters. TF> I thought there was always this MAIL folder, but I may be wrong.
