Hi Julian, I did actually send the text file the first time as UUEncoded and the second time as Mime and had the same result both times... the file was compressed but the file type extension remained .txt - that hadn't been changed at all - just that the recipient (who uses Apple Mailer) could not read it as a text file but found when he changed the file extension to .zip that he could open it with WinZip. -- Cheers, Anne Flying high with The Bat! v2.00.6 on Windows 98 4.10 Build 2222 Visit The Bat!
