AG> Really? My message finder says something like
AG> "Searching Folder: ...(.. messages found)"

Yes really! ;)

AG> What's your TB! version?

2.12 Beta/1 Personal Edition

It has been this way as long as I remember.
Also in the official release.

And I have just tried it again and it is still there "0 messages
found" as always...

MRA>> B. Configure default TO:/CC: for a folder ?
AG> That's a great idea, I've been thinking about it!

It's the feature that kept me a long time in Gnus on emacs ;)
(and with feature C it could be set automatically ;)

MRA>> C. Automatically create virtual folder for mailing lists / authors ?
MRA>> Is this possible in The Bat ? (it would really safe me some time

AG> I don't think that this is necessary, it isn't difficult for me to
AG> create a filter.

no - but it really is nice to have the mail program do the dirty work
for ya ;)

I also uses imapfilter instead of The Bat's built in filtering since
I've grown tired of maintaining/rebuilding my filtering for each
mailsystem i try out/uses. (+ imapfilter allows me to have a turing
complete language (lua) to express the filtering in ;)

AG> And how many VF-s do you want to have??? 100?

If that is what it takes yes ;)
My main wish is to say - "hmm...what mails have I sent to Alexander
Gladilin" and then just click on his name and ask TB to answer that
question - quickly! And without requiring me to add a virtual folder
manually....it's just a question of easy-access and easy use.

MRA>> D. What is the "Watched by" feature in folder properties ?
MRA>> I haven't been able to find docs on that feature - what is it ?
AG> It's a list of _virtual_ folders, that "watch" this folder. You can't
AG> select there non-virtual one. (Every VF has a list of folders, from
AG> which he shows messages {after filtering})

ok!

MRA>> E. IMAP folders reset their ordering when new folders come in ?!
MRA>> I love the ability in The Bat to reorder the sequence of folders so
MRA>> that I can have:
AG> I've never used IMAP, don't know.

bummer ;)

MRA>> F. Quick-change SMTP server ?
AG> Yeah, I think it's rather useful feature, especially for notebook
AG> users!

As remark I've just found a solution for it...http://www.mobilenetswitch.com/

it allows me to specify a network profile where it dynamically binds
the name DynamicSMTP to the right smtp server - and it handles other
cumbersome network switching features ;)

MRA>> Thanks in advance for answering ;)
