My templates generate Polish text with plenty of beautiful ł, ż,ś,ą,...etc. I suppose that the default codepage of your system is 'Western'. This is why TB displays instead of the Central European characters the characters which have the in the Western character table the same position. TB does this in the address book, the templates, and in the menus (if you switch TB's menu language to Polish), but not in the message editor if you choose the right charset for the message. If you switched you system's default codepage to Central European, you would not have this problem any more. (But other problems (-: ...) What I do is that I have (and type) Polish text in the templates, and I accept that it is displayed wrongly (I don't care because I want templates to work and not to look nice). As soon as these templates generate text in a message everything displays correctly. Of course, my Polish templates also set the charset to ISO-8859-2. This works also for Russian. But you are right. Everything would be easier, if TB supported unicode properly. -- Best regards, Cyrille mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] [ TB! 2.11.02, Windows ME 4.90 Build 3000, Pentium 233Mhz with 95MB ] ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.11.02 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
