I did some more checking on this and found tbuser.def in
C:\Documents and Settings\Michael\Application Data\The Bat!

All of my toolbars are there, but... I had to create a toolbar in the
Customize toolbar interface. Then I could go into the file and add the code
for the buttons (using a backup of the file).

The toolbar creation interface has clearly been dumbed down. I'm a bit
surprised. In the file there is a 'container' command which allows a
multiple use button (like the Receive new mail button in the Standard
toolbar). Once it's added in the tbuser.def file, it shows up properly in
the Customize toolbar interface.

Not sure why they removed this feature. It's still there, just not
available to the average user.
