For example, I have

Inbox->Archived->Folder A
That isn't how I've archived. I have an account, called dummy account,
where I have a set of folders for archiving into. It is password
protected, so most of the time anything I do with folders, such as
compacting on closure, or searching, etc, doesn't access those folders.
The password is easy to remember ('password') because it's just to keep
the archived material out of the way unless I need it. So I never move
folders, just contents.
