I have to agree that Apple has hosed the latest Airport management software. Someone inside Apple saw my blog post and anonymously told me that all the IPv6 functionality from the prior version *will* appear in the newer version.
Eventually. I got the impression that the older version was being replaced as the code base was rather crufty and difficult to extend; hence the new major release was seen as necessary to future progress and features. That's one of the reasons the older 5.6 version remains available, I guess. Here's the blog post... http://thuktun.wordpress.com/2012/02/18/ipv6-apple-airport-utility-6-0-breaks-ipv6/ And yes, there are now (12 months later) a lot more IPv6-capable options, at least in part due to "IPv6 Launch Day" earlier this year. I encourage you to try them and report back how they work (udner IPv6 especially). --tep
