It was read-only then. That changed in 1.1.5. But the netbsd_hammer2 and openbsd_hammer2 repos say "This repository will be abandoned once Linux or FreeBSD is stabilized with write support. NetBSD is not the main target." and "This repository will be abandoned once Linux or FreeBSD is stabilized with write support. OpenBSD is not the main area of interest."
