Encourage feedback to that effect from the community.

which triggers:

Contact the author.
If the author cannot be contacted:
        if the document allows for derivative works (ie someone
        else can take it over)
                seek a new maintainer
                if you can't find a new maintainer:
                        pull the document.
        else
                pull the document.
