I agree. I personally think that any open document project, OSWG, or
LDP, should mandatorily insist that license allow derivative works.

That being said, I'd be happy to operate within a project that allowed
the author the flexibility to pick and choose too.

What I'm after is an open documentation project that has some standards,
even if they're not perfect.
