Hi Folks,

It has come to my attention that a competitor has made allegations about Telrad
being nonstandard. I would like to state that these allegations are false,
ill-informed and irresponsible

The Telrad EPC is 100% standards compliant as is our eNodeB and UEs. Anytime
you work in a multi-vendor environment there is an IOT process which needs to
be managed on a per release level. In our new EPC build we have added several
features per standard. Anyone operating a third party eNodeB with a partial
standard implementation could potentially encounter issues hence the need for
an IOT process.

We are indeed working in scaled networks with tier 1 vendor eNodeB , EPC and UE
at this time so the standards allegation frankly holds no water

Any questions please feel free to reach out

Thanks
Nick

Neil - compact 3000 does not yet support 4x4 TM4. This is stated in release
notes

Matt C - I'm reaching out to you offline to review 4x4 results between 3874 and
4013

Telrad enodeb supports third party UE so not sure where that assumption comes
from. We have commercial networks deployed with various vendor UE.

Thx

Really! Okay I am seeing the same issues on 4x4TM4 mode. I will change
one tonight and see if that fixes it.

Is it true Telrad doesn't support third party CPE devices?

?From my testing I am able to get 3rd party UE's to connect and work fine.
3rd party eNB's will no longer connect to the EPC as of 6.6 release.

Updates:
I have an eNB with version 0606.03874 in 4x4TM4 mode and have not seen the
speed issues.
Another eNB with version 0606.04013 in 4x4TM4 mode is having the speed
issues.
