I've just published number 5, 'Følg mig til hine' of the ritornels by Laub. The typesetting of this tiny composition confronted me with an 'interesting' PMX limitation, a maximum number of nested slurs, presented to me as a PMX compile error message. I don't find that limitation documented, neither in Don's PMX manual nor in the elaborated Cataldi/Noack PMX tutor.
The slur in question is the upper slur spanning the 2 RH beam groups across bar 1 and 2. Due to the nested slur limitation I had to code the slur using in-line musixtex. Could I have arranged my PMX slurs otherwise in order to circumvent the nested slur limitation?
