Hi Karsten, I tested your score and could confirm the same behaviour. I use Linux SuSE 9.0. For writing the pmx source I always use emacs. When writing the file to disk and not ending the file by a newline emacs asks if a newline should be added which I always follow. So I never had the problem. But now I found out if you put your last comment line on the next line without adding a newline all bars are present. I could confirm this with my own scores. So there is some evidence that the last newline is not the whole story.
