Happy new year to all MusiXTeXnicians!

I have another question in this context.

Is there a simple way (I guess there is always some TeX-way, which I do not understand) to control the position of the dot in a chord note like "zc" in the example below?

Regards,
Dieter

Hi, Dieter, and happy new year!

Yes, it is a bug or a feature JFor now, it looks like you could get the dots where you want them by moving the dot on the opposite note. I will look into the coding…I’ve already located some comments about switching notes in chords when there are 2nds. It’s not surprising this has never come up before, since it depends on the 2^nd , the dots, and the down stem. I assume you noticed that the horizontal location of the notes is a little flaky too…you’d think they should be the same distance from the rest in both cases. More as it develops.

Hi Don,

please have a look at this example.

======================================

1    1    4 4 4 4  0 0  0 2  20  0

t
./
w200
 r8   b43d+0+1   zc    r8   b43ld+0+1   zc  /

====================================

The 2nd dotted note with a low stem moves the wrong dot.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Regards,

Dieter
