Q2            Is there a difference between anasthika and atheist?

A2           Yes.  As per the Sanskritdictionaries, an Astika is one who
believes in God or existence of something, apious person or a faithful person.
nAStika isa person devoid of the above attitudes.

As per theEnglish dictionaries, atheist is the one who does not believe in the
existenceof God.

Thus,it may be a misnomer to term a nirIshwaravAdin as nAStika since he may on
the other hand may be pious and faithful excepthis disbelieving the God. We may
betteruse nirIshwara vAdi.

Q4            Have we got a Valley of lingas inCambodia?

A4           yes.Just as a matter of information, near Siem Reap in Cambodia,
where the famous Angkor Wat complex is situated. there isalso a "site (which)
consists of a series of stone carvings in sandstoneformations carved in the
river bed and banks. It is commonly known as the"Valley of a 1000 Lingas" or
"The River of a ThousandLingas".

Themotifs for stone  carvings are mainlymyriads of lingams (phallic symbol of
Hindu god Shiva), depicted as neatlyarranged bumps that cover the surface of a
sandstone bed rock, and lingam-yoni  designs."
