Thanks, that makes sense. So if i understand correctly, my question shouldn't 
be what does the L9 tip deliver but what does the travel adapter deliver? Will 
look that up in the morning.

The phone is a galaxy SIIx (from Telus but virtually identical to TMobile 
version including ability to run on wind, mobility, videotron in Canada and tmo 
in us). And being blown out at ridiculous low prices by koodo and best buy 
Canada (off topic but happy to discuss). 

Don't think it does usb3 though its mhl (hdmi adapter available but i haven't 
really tested mine).
