All aspects of Yahoo! seem to be having more problems since pairing up with MS. The Yahoo! Games servers experience more problems and more lagging than I ever have seen there before, as well as Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Messenger. That pushed me to get a Google Mail account and move most of my email to Google.
I'm always amazed when someone posts a message here saying the Webmail extension has been working fine "until today," and then start getting angry with the extension's author. They should have enough sense to realize the software on their machine didn't change, so that only leaves the Yahoo! (or Hotmail, etc.) side to have changed. Why do people think something that's been working fine all along can somehow now be magically broken on their machine? Like you said, Yahoo! would like us all to pay now (for SBCYahoo accounts and switch to MailPlus). > Personally MS demands for money everytime I turn > around has driven me away to what appears to be much better operating > system. They let you set Firefox to report as IE, and even the version. Or, get a 2nd hard drive, and install Linux on it. Take it for a test drive. All I use on here is Firefox for every site. On a Windows machine, having NoScript and AdBlock Plus are pretty important to keeping Windows secure. The minute you use IE (or any of the programmable MS products) you're exposing that box, but you probably know that already.
