@Gil Yes.
I just performed some tests on my GMail account (which is rarely used). Since installing 0.6.6b6 I no longer get the STAT error messages. I stacked up 5 messages in the GMail Inbox and then launched Thunderbird. All five messages were downloaded. No error messages from Webmail. In Thunderbird I unchecked the box "leave messages on the server" and exited Thunderbird. I stacked up another 5 messages in the GMail Inbox and then launched Thunderbird. All five messages were downloaded. No error messages from Webmail. One final "Get messages" on the GMail account and exited Thunderbird. Logged on to the GMail account via browser and checked the account. No messages in the Inbox and all downloaded messages were in the Trash folder (ie all the expected deletes worked).
