I have a similar situation with Opera (plugin conflict prevents saving). What's needed for these situations is a universal regurgitater macro. When clicked, it would pop up a form field with the entire contents of the current TW inside. Then you could copy and paste the contents of the form into a text editor and manually save. While not elegant, it would allow you to have a working TW until the rest of technology caught up.
