Simple superscripts and subscripts can be achieved using TW standard
syntax.  For example...

superscripts: Fermat or Pythagoras (for n=2)
x^^n^^ + y^^n^^ = z^^n^^

subscripts: Fibonacci
x~~n~~ = x~~n-1~~ + x~~n-2~~

Note that the ^^ and ~~ formatting codes can *not* be nested, so
complex superscripts like x^y^z are not possible using this syntax.
For full mathematical notation, there are several TiddlyWiki plugins,
including MathJax, MathML, AsciiMath, and jsMath.
