TiddlyWiki Classic and TiddlyWiki5 have entirely different plugin architectures. Plugins for TiddlyWiki Classic cannot work in TiddlyWiki5 without a complete redesign and reimplementation from the ground up. Some plugins will no longer be needed due to the advanced features of TiddlyWiki5. Other plugins will be re-written to work with TiddlyWiki5, but may not provide all the same features. This will be a long-term project, as I have over 200 add-ons published on TiddlyTools.com.
