I think that Tobias is correct and there isn't currently a way to make the result of nested list widgets into a single list in a reasonable way. An unreasonable way would be to make a button that adds each list item to a tiddler as a tag and then to use the tags from that tiddler as your complete list, so if you absolutely need it and you are ok with the extra button clicks it is possible.
