Thanks Jed, but I'm certainly not volunteering to be the central anything. 
Distribution is the way - what belongs to no-one, belongs to everyone. At 
least, that's what I'd like to try.

Your site and others (Tobias, Mat etc. etc.) already fulfil the purpose of 
what I am suggesting here - to collect reference materials for others to 
use - thankyou to all of you for taking the lead. All I'm suggesting is 
having a particular document that we openly bat around between us (any who 
want to) until we agree that it serves as something-like-a-user-guide and 
not worrying too much if it exists in multiple states and myriad versions. 
And then we can figure out where we want to post it and how we will 
maintain it. But let's make it first!

It would be great if we can let our work in this area be shaped by the 
needs of the newest users and contributors, who are still closest to the 
(sometimes frustrating) sense of bafflement we all had to go through when 
we learned to use TW.
