Hi Jeremy, I've noticed Firefox private windows seem to negated any of the TiddlyFox settings. Everying thing works as you've describe when using normal windows, but once I switch to private windows I am forced back to overwriting the file to save changes. Hope this helps.
Also, I am new to Tiddling and want to thank you and the community for this wonder brain extension. I normally have a lot of scatter thoughts and this is the first method of capturing them that actually works. The ability to represent ideas is almost effortless, by the time I take my first brake I have a complex thought wonderfully represented.
