Ciao Adrian, TonyM e tutti, A footnote.
I think the approach can be developed empirically. What does a newbie need? Talking for myself, back when I started, IF I had been pointed to a resource (that effectively stands in for training) like Ton Gerner's Customisation TW <http://tw5custom.tiddlyspot.com/> I would have saved a lot of time. Its got a clear PURPOSE that pretty quickly makes sense. IMO, beginners main issue with TW is around purposes, as Danielo has commented elsewhere: "What do I do with this thing?" And then the second question arises: "How do I do it?" An alternative documentation approach might benefit from keeping those two points as strong organising principles?
