Hi That's more power that it should be pulling. It *should* be happy on anything from about 20 to 60 volts. I run mine on 28 volts. Last time I looked it was pulling well under an amp. How much under - don't remember.
The "kit" version from China comes with a 24V 2.x A supply. As with any OCXO, the power drops quite a bit after warm up. My question is, What is the input voltage range on the Z3815A? Also, one for those familiar with the Z3815A, "Holdover Uncertainty Predict:" is showing 2 dashes ( -- ) >From my experience with the Z380x clocks this usually is displayed right after its locked to GPS. Is there a problem with this unit, or the Z3815A won't ever display this, or just give it some more time? -marki _______________________________________________ time-nuts mailing list -- time-nuts@febo.com To unsubscribe, go to https://www.febo.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/time-nuts and follow the instructions there. _______________________________________________ time-nuts mailing list -- time-nuts@febo.com To unsubscribe, go to https://www.febo.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/time-nuts and follow the instructions there.
