That ("wouldn't it be possible") is how it works. The problem is that
some OSs have been configured out of the box to query for AAAA and try
to connect to IPv6 addresses when they in fact have no IPv6
connectivity.

We /shouldn't/ need to use a separate domain, just like people
/shouldn't/ have broken IPv6 configurations.

/me remembers he needs to fix his IPv6 connectivity...
