Bounaberdi. It is getting a bit late for me here (2 am), but notification of your message caught me before I could look for my bed.
Somewhere in my notes, I have made notes on something about creating a firewall on a single server that allowed one to protect those things which need not be exposed to the web as though they were on a separate computer, while placing those things that needed to be exposed to the web outside that firewall. However, this is as far as I have pursued this idea, as shortly after that, I began to run into the claims of these apps about being able to be exposed to the web with impunity proclaiming the wonderfulness of being able to log in from anywhere in the world....and I moved away from researching this division/firewall idea further. This concept you are now suggesting of creating virtual servers on a single computer, and treating them as separate computers allowing them simulate the most secure method of structuring such a network sounds very interesting!! Could you refer me to a HOWto on how to structure and set this up??? Thanks! :D _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
